Waiting On Santa Mini Portrait Sessions

 

There is nothing more magical then Christmas time for a child.  I remember Christmas Eve I could never sleep.  The excitement and anticipation of Santa's arrival would leave me bursting with excitement!  Even now as an adult, the special feeling I get inside during Christmas time cannot be described in words.  The time spent with loved ones and all the special memories we shared during the holidays always come flooding back and bring me joy and peace inside.  I love that I have children of my own that I can create Christmas magic for.  It fills my heart with joy to see Christmas through their eyes.  The innocence and pure belief in the magic of Christmas is definitely a sight to behold. 

 

One of my children's favorite Christmas movies is The Polar Express.  If you know the movie, you know that if you hear a sleigh bell ring, you are a true believer of Santa and if you don't you are not.  Recently my oldest asked me if I can still hear the bells ring.  With all the honesty in my heart, I answered, "Yes!"  I truly do believe in the spirit of Santa and the magic of Christmas. 

 

To date, this is probably my most favorite Christmas mini session set up I have ever done.  To be able to capture on camera my two children reliving the excitement and joy Christmas Eve brings, laying in their beds waiting for Santa to arrive was priceless.  I have already ordered a gorgeous canvas to display in our home as part of our Christmas decorations.  I know this session will be an heirloom I cherish for many years to come.
